A quiet Bryant neighborhood is reeling after police discovered three people dead from apparent gunshot wounds inside a home on Lena Drive early Saturday morning. The disturbing discovery was made shortly after 7:30 a.m., when a man called 911 upon returning home from work and finding his wife and in-laws deceased.
According to a statement from the Bryant Police Department, officers were dispatched to the residence in response to the emergency call. Upon arrival, they found three adults — one woman and two older individuals believed to be her parents — dead inside the home.
Police have not yet released the names of the victims pending notification of additional family members. In a chilling turn, three young children were also found inside the residence.
Thankfully, all of them were physically unharmed. Authorities said the children were quickly removed from the scene and are now in the care of other family members and support professionals. The ages of the children have not been publicly disclosed.
